Ponzi scheme is all about promising high interest rate to clients with little or no risk. It is considered as a fraudulent way of business dealings. The interest gains are usually high and unbelievable. It was started by a man named Charles Ponzi ,an Italian.

Some few days ago a thread was started on twitter on different faces of money swindlers in the Nigerian space . They all promised Nigerians high interest on all their investments. All the money still went down the drain. Ponzi schemes are not new. Each time, there will always be victims. Ponzi schemes are guided by greed rather sound business principles. Quick money here, quick money there. It is better for individuals to invest there time in legitimate businesses where there are input , process and output rather than “money fall on me stuffs”

Running your own business in this climate might be tough but it is better than burning your finger in ponzi. Cure yourself of greed. Be ready to work. Be ready for the process.

Ponzi men will always come. Infact because of the present situation of the country, more of them will still emerge. But if you cure yourself of greed, no matter the temptation you will not fall prey.
