October 20, (THEWILL) – The Executive Chairman of Ehime Mbano Local Government, Hon. Chief Uche Nwodu, has assured that his administration will work hard to ensure that the people of Ehime Mbano Local Government enjoy affordable healthcare service delivery in line with the affordable health policy of His Excellency, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, the governor of Imo State.

The chairman, who made the pledge during the inauguration of the Councilors from the 11 wards of the local government which took place at the council headquarters on Tuesday, called on the people to join hands and ensure that peace reigns because, according to him, there can be no meaningful development in an atmosphere of insecurity and fear.

He explained that his administration will initiate a program that will bring about 3,300 vulnerable people into the Imo Health Insurance Policy, which will cover children within 0-5 years, elderly women, and pregnant and nursing women for free medical treatment.

Hon Chief Nwodu iterated the determination of his administration to entrench justice, fairness, balance, all-inclusiveness and total development.
