THE State has instituted proceedings in the High Court seeking to forfeit four houses belonging to jailed former Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo, alias Bulldozer.

The Anti-Corruption Commission wants the court to order that the houses be forfeited to the State because they are proceeds of crime.

A magistrate recently established that Mr Lusambo, who is serving a four year jail term for possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime, registered four houses using the wife’s name.

ACC now wants the houses, registered in the name of Nancy Manase, to be surrendered to the State for being tainted.
