The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday dismissed the 98th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), saying it had no iota of purpose.

According to APC, instead of PDP focusing on how to rebuild the party, it was giving into alleging of APC foisting one party system to the country.

APC, in a statement from its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka in Abuja said, “When you think the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has outdone itself in the intensity of its folly, the party manages to put on even more shocking levels of folly in its never-ending political tragicomedy. The PDP’s communique issued at the end of its 98th National Executive Committee meeting of today April 18, 2024, is nothing short of the hoax wailing of a shambolic party.

“Unsurprisingly, the PDP failed to seize the opportunity of its NEC meeting to conduct a thorough examination of institutional and operational maladies that have crippled and turned the party into an unrecognizable shadow of its old self. Instead, the party voted to devote 8 of 15 paragraphs of its communique to spewing gibberish and casting unbefitting aspersions on the All Progressives Congress (APC).
