A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Ondo State, Hon. Wale Akinterinwa, has expressed confidence in winning the primary election fixed for Saturday, April 20.

Akinterinwa who rounded off his campaign tour of local governments ahead of the primary election said he would defeat other aspirants to emerge as candidate and win the November 16 governorship election.

Speaking with reporters at the Ile-Oluji campaigning rally, Akinterinwa he has traversed the three senatorial districts and 18 local government areas of the state and was well received by party members.

He said some aspirants are reaching out to him and would step down before the conduct of the party primary.
