Opening remarks by H.E. Abubakar Aliyu and H.E. Mohammed H. Abdullahi focused on the committment to fulfill climate-related goals, especially on the transition to greenhydrogen and the achivement of netzero goals.

The reprentative of Ministry of Environment highlighted the importance of working on the processes that lead to a justransition in energy. The Nigerian Government is committed to this goal and will continue to work jointly with their German counterparts.

The DG for Climate Diplomacy of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany emphasized on the need to turn this political imperative into a business case.
