The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, George Akume, has pledged not to disappoint but work effectively with President Bola Tinubu.

In the presence of some government officials, Akume was sworn in by President Tinubu at the council chamber on Wednesday, June 7.

Speaking to State House correspondents after the ceremony, the new SGF promised to discharge his duties in the interest of Nigerians.
