No. of Paragraph 15

Ghana legend Tony Yeboah believes football in the country is completely dead, insisting the game has been killed by bribes and mismanagement by authorities.

The 57-year-old accused the Ghana Football Association (GFA) of not heeding advice from former footballers.

In his view, the current poor state of football in the country is a direct consequence of the GFA’s actions over the years.

“I don’t know what is going on because I don’t follow. Everyone knows Ghana football is dead because they didn’t listen to the advice we gave them from the beginning,” he said, as quoted by 3news.
